An Invitation

Grace and Peace,

Allow me to introduce to you THE GREATEST expositional preacher of our times. His name is John MacArthur of Grace Community Church, and he has devoted over 40 years to preaching the entire New Testament, book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. Graciously, every bible study sermon that he has delivered over the past 56 years, at the same non-denominational church, is available for FREE at GTY.org. (A full explanation of expositional preaching is available below.)

Why am I sharing this? Because when God created you, His will was for you to have a relationship with Him now, so that you could be with Him forever in heaven.

But the problem is, every human is born without the ability to have a relationship with God and to be with Him forever because God is holy and man is unholy.

Yes, we are all born alienated from a holy God and guilty of rebellion against Him because we are sinners. Therefore, if we are to know God now and be with Him forever, a supernatural and personal transformation must take place now.

But an additional problem for man is that since we are all born spiritually dead, we are not able to make that personal spiritual transformation occur on our own.

Only God can supernaturally transform us and bring us into spiritual life. But the great news is that once we have been brought into spiritual life, it is forever. No person or circumstance can ever change that. That is God’s promise to us.

Recognize that God only provided one path for spiritual transformation in man. How? By hearing His Word. Listening to His message is the only way God can rescue man from hell. “Transformation only comes by hearing His Word.” Romans 10:17.

When God created man, He also graciously provided a kingdom manual for man called the Bible. His Word is our textbook, and the world is our classroom.

Providentially, the Bible gives man everything he needs to function according to His design. Everything! Without it, man becomes broken and lost.

But you will need an expositional preacher who is qualified to explain God’s Word. Expositional preaching is extremely rare today, but God has given us John MacArthur to reach those who are spiritually dead and teach those who are spiritually alive.

To learn about expositional preaching, listen to or watch the following at GTY.org:

Today, I recommend the following three Bible teaching Topical Series:

1. The People Who Can’t See Christ

2. Truth Endures

3. The New Testament, Beginning to End

Again, to be brought to spiritual life, you must hear the good news from God, about God, and what God is doing for sinners through His Son, Jesus Christ.

How? Hear God speak to you each morning by listening to ½ of a bible study sermon from GTY.org. (I recommend beginning with John's first sermon in 1969 and continuing from there. It is also very beneficial to follow the provided transcript while listening and copying any portion of text which personally speaks to you and re-reading those texts in the evening.)

Yes, it is God’s desire for you to have a relationship with Him now while on earth so that you will be with Him forever in heaven. But understand this: if you refuse God in this life, God is not going to force you to dwell with Him forever in heaven.

Listen today and be transformed today, because tomorrow may be too late!

My prayer is that one day you and I will rejoice together in heaven, forever!

The Truth in Love,

Mark Paul, Servant of God (begging you to be reconciled to God through Christ).

P.S. The greatest of all Christian experiences is to know that we belong to God now and forever. Why? Because out of it flows all our joy, now and forever!
