And when you arrive on heaven's shore, you will not only be greeted by all the saints that received salvation because of your seed-sowing efforts, but you will also hear Jesus say those wonderful words: “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your master!” (Matthew 25:23).
One final note: Remember, in Jesus’ Parable of the Sower, there’s no discussion of the Sower; anybody will do. There’s no discussion of the seed; the seed is the Word of God, the gospel. The only issue is the soil, which represents the condition of the heart. Since soil quality, or the condition of the heart, is the issue, the more seed you throw, the more likely you are to hit fertile soil, which is a heart prepared by the Holy Spirit.
So, if you start throwing seed in every direction, you’re more likely to hit good soil. That’s what we’re here to do. Once we’re saved, there’s only one reason for God to leave us here on earth: To throw seed. It’s the only thing we can do here that we won’t need to do in heaven.
Look, I don’t know where that good soil is, but it’s there. And there’s nothing more wonderful than being the Sower when it hits the good soil. But you must have the courage to throw seed. Also, when you throw seed, ask God to plow the soil because you can’t plow the soil; only God plows. In other words, pray that God will deliver your invitations to tilled and prepared soil (hearts) that are ready to receive His precious invitation of salvation.
